Dhamma Giri Vipassana Centre is considered the first official Vipassana meditation centre established in India by Goenkaji; thus, it is a spiritual tradition for Vipassana practitioners to come practise in this centre.

This blog aims to give Vipassana meditation practitioners detailed instructions on how to register and get to Dhamma Giri, especially for those who are not familiar with travelling in India or haven’t been back there for a long time like myself. My meditation course at Dhamma Giri was from 29 Jan to 9 Feb 2025 so all info is updated by Feb 2025.
